Hi @cubot! As you know, we have millions of users on the stable product. The beta user group is pretty large as well, but in order to deliver a good stable product, we need to run different experiments in the beta. Sometimes it's about shifting button locations, and sometimes it's about testing a completely new feature or measuring network performance. You will often face incomplete translations, and more bugs than the stable product.

On the positive side, you will always be running the latest version of Opera Mini, when using the beta. As @mbaluta said, if you prefer a more stable product, we'd be happy to have you as a user on the (non-beta) Opera Mini instead.

Hi, have you tried switching data savings mode to "High" instead of using "Extreme", which is the default mode?

Is the RSS feed support gone for good? If so, it's a shame since it was way better and more efficient than having to deal with an extra application just for it.

We've moved the RSS feed setting to Data savings under Extreme mode, as it's tightly coupled to that mode.

to import all the speed dials after logging in to opera account. i have to do it one by one....

Have you found the "..." menu at the top right?

EDIT: Right, this feature is coming in the next version. It's in the public beta right now.

The summer has been nice here in Sweden but we haven’t all been on vacation. Today, we are releasing Opera Mini 11 beta 2, which fixes more than 50 bugs in both new and old features.

We improved Opera Mini's two data-saving modes, the new tab gallery and, also, downloads. You can expect more improvements in this area in the months to come. So, stay tuned.

Hi all,

Today, we released another beta of Opera Mini for Android. This time, we focused on making the most out of your screen real estate.

We merged the Home and Speed Dial views. Now, you don’t have to fuss with the headers and all your content appears on one page. Just like before, you can turn on and off some content in the settings menu.

We also added a fullscreen mode, which hides the Android notification bar and scrolls away the action bars when you are browsing. You can enable this in settings, as well.

As always, we squashed a lot of bugs for you – most notably, a bunch of font issues. To correct some issues, you might see a font-calculation dialog.
