yes but it doesnt work that way in opera for android.if u exit opera,download also stops.it shouldnt b that way,download must continue in the background on the notification area.pls work on it.thnx

i use UC browser too but i had a free browsing trick which support downloads on only opera mini that's why am concerned.

yh.too many limitations in opera mini.most annoying of them is the dowmload manager.am only able to download files below 15mb as i get "download error" for sizes 15mb and above and it even comes with poor download speed as u've stated.

unlike other download managers on my android that have high speed downloads on my 3G network,only opera mini has the slowest speed.it uses 2G speed(between 20KB/s and 50KB/s)for downloads even while am on 3G high speed network.i also cant download files above 15mb (download error).i just cant understand why this happens.

u are perfectly right.am only able to download file sizes below 15mb.i get download error for file sizes above 15mb.really and annoyingly annoying.opera mini downloader sucks.

i have never liked the download manager of opera mini.it should support background download.
btw....some comments here are too lenghty.summarise them.we dont need any president's speech here.
