Extensions can preclude the sandbox and the whole debug system since we've seen a double amount of betas which relays to a remote. Bad idea to put a daemon inbetween, methinks.

off-road is designed to reduce data usage, and gifs are among the biggest data hogs you can encounter on a website.
it wouldn't really make sense to make off-road work without compressing/converting images.
How can I backup or export my speed dials from Opera on my android tablet?

I'm less interested, although curious, in why it doesn't show as supported and more interested in when it will be available for Kindle Fire HDX. Currently there are no alternative browsers available for HDX, and I'd really like an alternative to Silk.

Android 100%. In fact Android default browser is more prone to this bug. For me it's easy to test this behaviour on filmehd.net site (click on any movie) when at times I can't go back on front page via click back.

Screw Opera team, i've found a way to do this without xposed module. I'm using custom rom and it let's me configure all hard keys (i've a Galaxy) to my needs, i've configured Back key long press action to enable Expanded desktop and it works flawlessy! It's like immersive mode but keyboard works!

Exit button could already be accessed by long-pressing the back button before the latest Opera beta.
