@blitzkywitzky its very easy, go to settings / then just type keyboard in search box / then wenter configure shortcuts /
once there delete shortcuts for cycle through tabs / add new shortcuts for switch tabs / done.
More customization for the "Quick Access" page.

you may try shortcut keyboard easily. for example:

go here:
opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts

search "show" and type a shortcut like "ALT+S" for "show bookmarks".

with this, you can enable/disable bookmarks anytime you need it.

Opera is the best browser for keyboard shortcuts. 😘
