..In addition to previous post, following conditions are needed to trigger the issue:
Opera need to be positioned near the right edge of a monitor with high resolution (4K or QHD) with a low resolution secondary display (ordinary HD).
I tested two different systems, 4K and QHD: 3840 pixels wide and 2560 pixels wide both trigger it in a dual screen setup with a normal "HD/1920" secondary.

vux777, thanks for the reply. I'll experiment with that flag.
I wish I could mark this as solved since after closing the "...all of your devices" dialog in the bookmarks window, I can drag and drop as you say. At first I simply ignored it because I don't have any devices 🙂

Was able to resolve this by following this post: https://forums.opera.com/topic/11041/vines-don-t-work/3

The only difference being, I'm on Arch Linux, and so my package name was different (from the AUR, aur/opera-ffmpeg-codecs).

Hi @draki @tlromulo, you can try the following steps: open a terminal window, and execute the below commands as root (or use another user account with administrator privileges):
`apt-get install chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra cd /usr/lib/x86\_64-linux-gnu/opera-beta && mkdir lib\_extra && cd lib\_extra`
For Opera beta 31:
`ln -s /usr/lib/chromium-browser/libs/libffmpeg.so libffmpeg.so.31`
For Opera beta 32:
`ln -s /usr/lib/chromium-browser/libs/libffmpeg.so libffmpeg.so.32`
32bit/64bit RPM installation packages still missing

I posted this in Opera for Windows accidentally, but this is with Opera browser 31.0.1889.174 on Linux (RPM).

The openssl version is OpenSSL 1.0.1k 8 Jan 2015. Squid's version, for all it matters, is 3.4.4.

I don't have the adobe-flashplugin package on Ubuntu 15.04.

You need to add the "Canonical Partners" software source to get this package.
Opera 31.0.1889.99 keeps locking up and becomes totally unresponsive!

avl, was using nouveau. Followed the directions on your above Ubuntu link and switched driver this morning (12 hours ago) to using:
NVIDIA binary driver version 346.82 from nvidia-346 (proprietary, tested) and Opera dev 32 has not locked up my PC or froze on me once!

Keeping my fingers crossed.

PS: Just discovered Opera 31.0.1889.99 is now operational!
I have both Opera dev 32 and Opera 31 installed.
Opera 31 would lockup my PC as soon as I hit any bookmark tab rendering it totally useless. Now that the driver was changed Opera 31 seems to be running A-OK again!

@cybrsaylr, and anyone else having an issue with video/audio, I installed a package called "opera-ffmpeg-codecs" that resolved this. The video/audio that didn't work on certain sites are now working with this package, you just have to find it.

ffmpeg.org should be of some help. Or you can just search for the package yourself.

Hi @hartmuthaase, the default location of the Opera developer's profile should be ~/.config/opera-developer, and the cache folder ~/.cache/opera-developer.
You can check the paths in Opera's menu > About Opera (opera:about) > Paths.

The setting of the custom engines, and for the default engine, are stored in the "Web Data" file, which is located in the Opera's profile folder.

Additionally, you can find more info about, what data are stored, in the individual profile files, here.
