@sikomm Same issue here on latest OS, latest Opera. But most of the time I find the preview are just blank.

Both Desktop 1 and Desktop 3 are running Opera with open windows, all of which are blank.

In the "Personal News" section you can readily add your own sources, but you can't change the news seen in Speed dial - other than to turn it off of course.

The problem is most likely the file size. I have some 800 bookmarks but no favicons, so the file size for the .html file is less than 200 kb. There is a way to remove favicons from a bookmarks.html file. See this page and look at step 2.

I too am annoyed by this. The "show sidebar" action shouldn't effect the dial page. The sidebar should be fixed on the dial page. I personally think, that this is an unintentional mistake, because otherwise it wouldn't make any logical sense.

Yeah! Are you just putting up with it, or did it resolve on its own? It's just annoying when I forget, accidentally drag the tabs out and all these mini images are blocking my screen. Then having to quit the app all together after that, it's a mess lol.

Opera handles files according to what the site tells Opera the file is (and not based on the extension they use), so they are telling it the wrong thing.

Worse still, the text and the background are in low contrast, so the text is hard to read. These developers cannot even be bothered to change the text colour when one changes the theme between light and dark.
