Try turning VPN off. I have a similar error when VPN is on. I cannot reach any web page. Post above.

Finally i was able to find the way to clean the cookies. And it worked. The strange thing is that when i was clicking on the globe thing next to the site address it was showing 0 cookies but when i found the cookies in the ssettings (which took me some time i must admit) then there were 8 cookies there. After deleting them i was able to access the site again.

Same issue:
Mac OS X 10.13.6 64-bit
Opera: 58.0.3135.107 (happened also in previous version, hoped the update will resolve the issue).

It happens on Mac screen only but also when connected to 2 external screens.
Impossible to get full Opera installer?

Try running CCleaner. It worked immediately with me. It also worked with another person who replied. CCleaner is free. But, I think it is fair to buy it if it works for you = supper headache saver.

Should be on every OS, but I'm a Windows user, so can not be certain on this.

About the attribute, you can try adding it if not exist.

This problem is so annoying ... I love Opera but it seams I am forced to use another option. My solution to this has been to duplicate the tab.

I decided to try Slimjet instead of Opera. I like it. It is faster, does not crash when I open Preferences, bookmarks pages properly. It is built from chromium source, so it is similar. It also takes Chrome extensions. It is even somewhat themable. I did have to replace a certain video library file in the application package, but after I did that, it is great.

Do you mean that you cannot login with Slimjet? I am now using this forum from Slimjet. It works for me. I have a cookie (and other items) manager extension, and I also allowed the password for the forum to be stored in the browser. The extension is called Policy Control, and controls 11 items. There is a version for Opera.

The problem I had with Preferences with Opera 57 and 58 was crashing every time I tried to open it. The speed dial start page was still there, however.

I am not sure. After I gave Opera access to the keychain, I had no more problems with passwords. I am not using Opera much these days. I have found another chromium-based browser which works better.
