  Instead of pasting with command-v, use shift-command-option-v.

  That works for me -- no formatted text, just the url.

  Even as I went to reply to this old thread, this blank page happened on my Mac. This old problem persists for me and I was hoping to see some kind of fix after so long. I'd done everything cycnoches did and then some. If someone, anyone has anything useful to add, I'd appreciate it. I can't be the only one this is still happening to. I don't want to go back to Safari, but I'm almost there. This is too aggravating to put up with.Blank page recurring.png

  @operaoperandi I have Privacy Badger, Ghostery, and the built-in Opera blocker. I also have Bitdefender installed and it found nothing, The problem seems to be fixed, but it was hella bizarre.

  I'ts absolutely sure bug of opera that migrated from version to version almost the year time period.

  Has fix the issue by downgrade to version 64. There is absent any issues.

  Such a shame to miss such bugs over the year of time period.

  Reported a bug to support.

  @clintbradford I wish I knew. I am on a Mac and this has suddenly started happening to me as well.
  Not many programs open, then all of a sudden the fan goes mad and the Opera Helper uses most of my CPU.
  Please if anyone knows how to uninstall this let us know. At present the only fix seems to be to uninstall, then reinstall Opera, but then I lose all my bookmarks and suchlike.

  I could use the Console app to get some additional details about the connection problem. I'd be interested if you also see those "Response code 400" message in your console.
