Same question! If you need to modify touch bar, right now opera does not support it and you have to install third party apps to do it. There needs to be more demand on this feature for the developers to look into it
@oriondomingo i updated to the latest browser, reseted everything and i was having big issues with using it. I've never seen anything so horrible before. Using Chrome fixed it. Sad, because i liked using Opera
The problem normally happens in websites like Gitlab, Github, Azure DevOps and BitRise, but I have seen in others random websites too.
Update stream:Stable
System:macOS Version 13.5.1 (Build 22G90) 13.5.1 arm64 (but the problem happens in my Windows PC too)
Chromium version:122.0.6261.112
This is such a shame. I've added the downloads icon to my sidebar, which feels good to me as it sits with other useful tools there. But now I want to hide it on the URL bar but cannot? 😞 I have no use for the "add to bookmarks" icon because I use 3rd party bookmark tool.
I hope they look into supporting flexibility in this top URL tool bar for users.
@omits Only through Sync - depending what you want to transfer. Things like logins (passwords), cookies, extension data and other private data can't be copied from user to user as the data is encrypted. There is a way to export passwords, but it requires some effort. Bookmarks (favorites) are not encrypted and can just be copied user to user as well as exported.
@omaryak Sometimes you need to be able to enter a plain apostrophe instead of a right single quote, as the apostrophe symbol has meaning in the Markdown format used by the forum. Hence if smart quotes leaves you no method to enter an apostrophe, it does become a bug. Not being a Mac user, I have no way of knowing if there is some method to temporarily bypass smart quotes, though apparently the user in that other thread was not aware of one.
