@joaopsandes I have the same problem just started this second, I see you were advised to dismantle extensions, I have none, so this is clearly a Major coding problem by the Opera team, I am Autistic so this is driving me nuts, I will last another day at most before I quit the Opera browser forever if this is not fixed ASAP!
But looking at this, it has been ignored.

"Free" browsers must earn their revenue somehow... continuing development costs still must be paid. One way to do this is to rent out preferred placements in the browser to various paying service providers, such as operators of certain search engines. Usually, such arrangements preclude user-removal of those placements.
