just tried it out. In my case enabling gpu blacklist didn't help, but the hardware acceleration made it now.

Just think about any recent change like unwanted software autoinstalled, malware problems, back in time with a restore point, system messed...

The most probably to be considered is the health of the system.

The @Alr116 option could be tested if happens again.

I think Twitch is using HTML5 for about a year now. This is weird however, because the error says "Flash is not installed".

In opera:// gpu it says, that Video Decode is Hardware accelerated.
Here is a screenshot of the page, in case it is needed:

Now that you said you've never seen this I look for it as a problem outside opera and apparently it has something to do with nvidia shadowplay, but thanks anyway

Oh never mind my daughter's friend just showed me how to do it. I had to click on the Chrome and then it gave me more choices which showed Opera so I did it and clicked a link and it worked. Sorry and thank you.

Previously the only way to change the search bar in the speed dial was through using the so called power settings.

It still works the same way. And it even being discussed here.

You know: pressing up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, b, a in your settings screen. After that sequence a dialog appeared and then several more options would become available. This no longer works.

It haven't been necessary since a long time, at least to hide the search bar.

And you can still use the Konami code to turn 'power user settings'.

Since this update I have not been receiving push notifications on my mobile device, so I believe the two could be linked.

I've just checked here and renaming the current profile folder makes Opera to create a new one as said in the F.A.Q.

Correct! It didn't wipe out the old one as I first thought. I was looking in the wrong place after the restart.
