A FTP client without SSL is not perfectly, may be in Windows 95 times.
Yes, i talked about FTPS because FTP without SSL is not useful. Sending logins over unecrypted connection, ... no, huuhhh!
In 2014 https exists for secure connects/logins on HTTP protocol and therefore FTP should have it too.
Devs don't care any more what the users actually want. 15 years ago, they would listen when you gave input, but now that they're rocking a 1.8% market share, they don't have to listen to the people that have supported them through all these years. They do whatever the hell they want, and if you don't like it, so what. Because, really, what's losing 1% of your customers when you already have so many? Why be innovative? Just take away features people liked and replace them with garbage.
Didn't mean to be 'lacking', but from what I see, very few guys use OPERA, less will be in '24', and even LESS [probably] know what Sandboxie is....AND less yet use it ! I wont put a browser on line without S/B and that wound up being a 'deal breaker' for me, until I found out how to do that...
resolved: the problem lies on Google DNS. Facebook's images are on akamaihd servers that are selected geographically as closest to you. this is done using your DNS. if you use Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) it gives akamaihd the wrong location (maybe India.. and I am in Italy) and as a result all Facebook contents are so slow to display that it becomes unusable.
Solution is changing your DNS to your provider's.
Thanks, that's a good comprehensive answer. I've already been in the message store and it's not there. The notes I deleted only exist as a "ghost" in the lexicon, I just wanted to know whether there was any way of reading the lexicon files. Now I know - no! Thank you 🙂 I've accepted they're gone, it's not too much of a disaster, I can remember a lot of them, it's just the not knowing...
Linux, other sites don't reload. Neither in my 11 nor in my Ole Firefox.
Operaforums always does.
I don't think it's actually reloading though - it's something else which refreshes the content without reloading.
So I mean what? This site is not to take an example.
So doing that first, then copying Profile excluding Bookmarks.* mostly did the trick. Bookmarks Bar seems to be a special Bookmarks folder so I think need to do those manually.
