In new version I've got something like "speeddial.ini".

This is an Opera Presto (Opera 12.17 and older) file. You can't convert Opera Blink bookmarks into Opera Presto ones, unless maybe by using extensions.

You were right. It is the extension "Disconnect" that is causing that problem.

I get similar speeds on my browsers that support this page. Maybe a goal could be to bring Opera into compliance if not too onerous. I guess the bigger question is: Is Opera slower? Are other people getting similar speeds on other websites with different browsers?

gkpdex' comment sounds v helpful, but unfortunately and I don't know where to find 'Login Data' - can't find this in Opera 26 Settings. Grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

@leocg - my translation: It seems the OP now can't look at the eBay site with Opera, though they never had this issue with Opera before (the problem just began "one day"). They've tried various settings (and something involving "use proxy for local servers") but that didn't work. They had a friend look at it and got things going - but 5 minutes later the site would not "let him in again". IE views the site OK. Opera seems to work on Hotmail. They've tried deleting and downloading Opera again, but still have the problem.

@open1949: What Opera version are you using? Are you using Opera's Turbo feature? Are you using a proxy?

There ought to be a "sticky" somewhere about this: the term "Turbo" really is only accurate for those who need the speed-up effects they get from it on a very slow down-link like dial-up. Opera Turbo routes your browser traffic through Opera servers in order for them to compress the traffic coming from a website and thereby reducing the bandwidth and content-volume required to display a site page. On very slow user ISP connections, this actually speeds up the page display, albeit at the cost of image fidelity due to compression; it also reduces the bandwidth consumed, for those who are being billed for bandwidth used. Otherwise, the overhead of routing the down-headed traffic through Opera's servers and the employment of compression software on those servers can actually slow down the process significantly for users who don't need it because of a very slow ISP link.
is this normal in Opera?

How to fix Google Chrome Blank page(s) problem.

Solution 2*****: Disable Chrome’s “Sanbox” security feature.
Attention: Sandbox is a security feature that included in Chrome browser to protect you when you surf the web.

I got it working by adding the -no-sandbox switch
At “Shortcut” tab, go at the “Target” field and at the end of the existing command type: -no-sandbox

(search for 'chrome blank pages')
