  Set up the pop account fresh (no import) in a new profile of M2 as a test. Don't uncheck "leave messages on the server". Test in it for a couple days. That'll tell you if it's just something messed up in your mail folder or if there's now an incompatibility with Gmail.

  If I go to Settings/Default Browser, clicking the "Make Default" - nothing changes, under the "Default browser" it continues to say, "Make Opera the default browser."

  @burnout426 Thanks, I tried and things got worse. It's really weird. When I launch Opera, CPU usage hits 80% and then it goes down and varies as I load new tabs

  So you can manually change this value, but it is impossible set this value to max and always keep it that way by, for example, constantly overriding the initial value.

  Maybe one day some will come up with some sort of an add-on or something, which will prevent this value from being changed back...

  @teep Because Opera VPN is blocked on those places and offering a service that wouldn't work wouldn't make much sense.

  So, I copied the files, as this comment reassured me

  I have noticed that I can't uninstall opera either and I can't find it in Program files, only in Appdata.

  I just downloaded new installer and installed it and it automatically replaced the older opera(80.0.4170.63) and it is just running like nothing happened, with all the tabs and stuff. I have restarted the computer and it has been fine.

  I will write again if I will have problems again.

  I had same issue. I changed just one flag:
  opera://flags/#use-angle - from value "Default" to value "OpenGL".
  And it helped me, now h.264 video playing correctly!
