Already went to Edge all the time on the home PC. Will no longer used Opera on my work PC
I use an Adblocker for most BS, but this built in & could not be blocked.
Co-workers have also stopped using Opera as most of them do not have rights to edit the AppData files (I do)
So in one fell swoop Opera lost us as a Company
I was afraid that might be the case. I use a Chrome extension called Bookmark Sidebar and the feature to add a separator in the menu is coded so I can't modify the properties. I'll reach out to the developer and see if he'll consider about:blank?[random number] in a future release.
@atirrh Wrong question. You actually do close the tab, but that doesn't close the browser. Opera creates a new speed dial tab if you close every tab (easy to see if you didn't have any speed dial tabs in the first place), so the fact you actually did close the speed dial tab is pointless.
Instagram is updating their platform to make it so followers can no longer see how many likes an individual post has received. The company says that they want friends' attention focused on what you share, not your follower count - but some users aren't happy with this new feature!
@bon90 - thanks, but I've moved on to Vivaldi, the folks at Opera refuse to address an issue that obviously many people find extremely annoying, so if they don't care about their user base, then i don't care to use their browser.
No skin off their nose, none off mine.
