Just to confirm, the problem in this screenshot is the "ofill" that populates automatically after writing "aut"? Or the suggestions below?
I don't have that flag you mention either, I found several flags when searching for autofill, address bar or dropdown, but IDK if that behavior can be disabled now.
Replying so maybe someone else can provide more insight.
@zcherr The first things to try are incognito window and disabling all ad blocking, like Opera's internal one. As a last resort, you can try with Opera Portable.
Or if you know how to do it, you could also try opening the Developer Toolbar (Ctrl-Shift-I) to see if there are any errors under the Console tab, or what the login request is exactly getting back from the server under the Network tab.
@friedhelm27 yes, this is activated.
BUT Opera fails too often regaining all tabs by restart. 😞
So i use the mentioned workaround once a month, ca all 4. restart. o_O
Then I have to drop it most if not all are moved from Opera til maps all over - its many.
I have found a little help program that can open .url format and that is the format after I have tried manually to move them.
I tried to find a way around.
So the solution is:
Find them inside the url open program and then save them on the android 12 tablet manually again in a Opera format on a Android 12 system. If that is possible 🙂
@leocg Oh I see that's a bummer 😕 I used to have Iron (a variant of chrome) and had no problem keeping my history for years, perhaps there are files / hidden files in my computer (where Opera is installed) I could change to prevent it from deleting my history ?
Oh well, since I've tried everything I could think of to fix this issue, to no avail, and got no suggestions from this forum, either, I finally had no choice but to abandon Opera with a heavy heart and return to Chrome. Too bad, I liked Opera, but I just can't live with crashes every two hours.
If you signed in to Opera with your Google account, you can goto https://auth.opera.com/account/edit-profile, scroll down and unconnect it. Besides that, not sure what you're referring to.
