History gets automatically cleared after a while

After a few days, my history gets automatically deleted. I would like like to keep it this way because I use a lot the research function in my history to retrieve past articles, videos, or whatsoever.
Is there any parameters to turn off this auto delete ?
Please apologize my mistakes, english isn't my native language, hence my weird wording.

@coco-h Chromium has a 90 days limit for History. Other than that, there is no setting to remove or keep history.

@leocg Oh I see that's a bummer I used to have Iron (a variant of chrome) and had no problem keeping my history for years, perhaps there are files / hidden files in my computer (where Opera is installed) I could change to prevent it from deleting my history ?
