I switched yesterday from NPAPI to the PPAPI flash plugin without any problems. Working fine so far.
You might consider to uninstall the NPAPI flash if PPAPI is working fine for you. You can see the detected plugins here (click on show details at the top right corner):
opera://plugins
Nevertheless Opera wouldn't load both plugins, but prefers PPAPI as far as I know.
I tried this too, but it has brought no joy.
It is so strange. I have a flash game open in one tab right now and when I go to this tab to type this message, it is as though my game is paused.
Thanks I have uninstalled the old one. And I have also figured out the reason that the old version was opening. I open opera by clicking on the quick launch icon. And that one was the old version`s one.
Saying they cannot be removed is a little strong. They can be removed but its currently not a user friendly operation. The default search engines are stored in a file. Edit the file to change or remove them. Its not an easy operation though, as I mentioned. Changes are coming though. Its been stated that that is not the final version of the search options.
In the same way? You mean you want to open many tabs when you start the browser? If so, just add more entries to the list I mentioned. If not, then I don't understand what you are asking and will need more clarification.
Thanks, really good to hear that directly from an Opera employee @ruario!
I assume and hope that when (not if sadly) Opera 12 is completely abandoned and unsupported, we will be officially informed.
🙂
Thanks to all of you and yes, I do not want Opeara to bear such a great job to donwloading Yahoo mail since 1990's. Somtime if download fail during in the middle of time if will have problem in the Opera M............... I guess......
This is why I was thinking in the account seeting have some sort of ways ( which obvious not as I can see now ) to control the number of mails of period of time of the IMAP email downloading.
Considering two people have the same problem with Roboform, But are using two completely different versions of Opera, My statement in my previous comment still stands.
