@leocg thank you, it actually seems to have been blocked by a password manager extension 1Password. I temporarily disabled it and Opera then prompted to remember the password

@noxart If you don't remember your old Opera account password, you will not be able to access your synced saved passwords.

As an example this url https://www.techtek.cz/catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-1.6.1.min.js, yesterday it kept asking me on every other request, similarly for regular urls or images, not that frequently, but still closer to "hourly" than "monthly"

Thank you, so far I tried gregorw's advice, unfortunately as long as this is enabled, every time I start typing into URL bar Opera crashes ... it's weird that it's connected, but this it started right after I restarted after enabling it, happened every time, stopped right after I disabled it.

Will try the gustavwiz's advice, but yes, I am logged into sync.

We're over a year old here, but sgunhouse fixed this issue for me. thank you

@evo2me Same here. Also, the Speed Dial feels very laggy when opening a folder. Does it happen to you?

Same problem for me since several months, it's really annoying. Many times a single reload also won't help, often it takes many attempts and patience to load a page like youtube properly. (Opera version 12.16, winXP)
Opera on my Laptop doesn't have these problems at all (same version, but win 7)...
