@leocg thank you, it actually seems to have been blocked by a password manager extension 1Password. I temporarily disabled it and Opera then prompted to remember the password

Hi, is it somehow possible to remember HTTP Basic auth credentials? There is no checkbox to do so
Or did it ask me and I pressed cancel in a dialog? If so, is it possible to re-prompt me on a website?
I use 1Password extension if that may possibly interfere with it?

I have old PC and new PC, both with Operas, but the new PC is a fresh Opera, just with sync enabled. However there is an error "Your saved passwords were encrypted with an Opera account password which has been changed."
I cannot remember the old password.

On old PC I went to Synchronization and changed Password Encryption from Opera password to Custom password. But this new password does not work on the New PC either.

Can this be somehow resolved? Thank you

Hi, for some reason about 50% time I click "Copy" in the new [Search | Copy] popup it will not work ... anyone else experiencing this?

As an example this url https://www.techtek.cz/catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-1.6.1.min.js, yesterday it kept asking me on every other request, similarly for regular urls or images, not that frequently, but still closer to "hourly" than "monthly"

for some reason Opera doesn't seem to remember certificates. Even if I accept the exception, it will ask me again even minutes after again and again, in some cases at best next day. The flag is set to 1 month.

I recently did a fresh install on a new PC (Win10, Win7 before) and it's still the same. Current version is 31.0.1889.174, but this was happening several major versions ago, maybe even since the transition to webkit.

Has anyone solve anything like this?

Full recently closed tabs was one of the great features of Opera, I don't really understand this huge regression in functionality.

Not necessarily, even before there was a [< More] button, they can add that I guess.

And from a broader perspective ... imho tab grouping was far better solution to too many tabs than this menu (can't think of any other reason why would someone use it), so this menu could have been reserved for recently closed as it was before and worked really well.

Is there a way to show "all" closed tabs, as it was until now?

Thank you, so far I tried gregorw's advice, unfortunately as long as this is enabled, every time I start typing into URL bar Opera crashes ... it's weird that it's connected, but this it started right after I restarted after enabling it, happened every time, stopped right after I disabled it.

When I open "Other speed dials" in bookmarks there are many folders that are empty, maybe there's something wrong with my setup and not with Opera (though speed dial stayed as it was in previous versions).

Well ... I discovered Opera clears the speed dial on every start. Even if I restore it each time and 'm logged it. Can this be solved in any way? Thanks

There's "Other speed dials" folder with several empty folder and one really outdated (years), but it's at least something ... Thank you!

Hi, after updating to 29.0.1795.26 all my speed dial entries are gone. Tried disabling new speed dial, no change. I am signed in inside browser and had been in previous versions. I made no other change or deletions.
Is there a way to show them again / restore them somehow?

Thank you for suggestion, unfortunately the form does not have autocomplete=off and it does not even fill the password if I select a name. Just as for zerrrgu, for me it was working flawlessly in 12 and before. I can't find anything that would be unsual about the form...

On some websites (like OpenCart 1.5.x eshop administration) Opera does not offer to save passwords for me.

The website is not in saved passwords.
The website is not in "never save" passwords.

I get a dropdown list in username with values entered in the domain, but nothing is prefilled into password after clicking, think it's just a standard remembered input value, not a stored password.

Version currently 27, but surely 26,25,24 and maybe before.

Starting v24, whenever I switch to tab I have not yet visited, the page is blank and it takes around 2 to 5 seconds before it shows the content (after those 5s it shows the whole page immediately). The tab's content should have been loaded a long time ago.
I've tried disabling the new tab previews and/or enabling the new settings option of delayed background tab loading, but no change.
In previous versions everything was fine.

- yes, there were items for my localhost webdev and those added by Spybot SD
- I removed all but 127.0.0.1 localhost, restarted* ... but no change

afaik you need to at least relog for hosts changes to take effect, right?

Thanks for reply ... you don't have to mention it's working for you, I understand this issue is very rare and that it works fine for almost everyone (which also means chances for resolving it are pretty slim...)
