[Opera 29] Speed dial entries gone

Hi, after updating to 29.0.1795.26 all my speed dial entries are gone. Tried disabling new speed dial, no change. I am signed in inside browser and had been in previous versions. I made no other change or deletions.
Is there a way to show them again / restore them somehow?

There's "Other speed dials" folder with several empty folder and one really outdated (years), but it's at least something ... Thank you!

Well ... I discovered Opera clears the speed dial on every start. Even if I restore it each time and 'm logged it. Can this be solved in any way? Thanks

Windows 7 Home x64.
When I open "Other speed dials" in bookmarks there are many folders that are empty, maybe there's something wrong with my setup and not with Opera (though speed dial stayed as it was in previous versions).

Are you using sync? Try to log out, add some speed dial entries, then restart opera. See if the speed dial entries are remaining.

Paste this into address bar: opera://flags/#favorites-bookmark-backend
Toggle "Bookmarks backend for Speed Dial" flag and restart.

Thank you, so far I tried gregorw's advice, unfortunately as long as this is enabled, every time I start typing into URL bar Opera crashes ... it's weird that it's connected, but this it started right after I restarted after enabling it, happened every time, stopped right after I disabled it.
Will try the gustavwiz's advice, but yes, I am logged into sync.
