@hucker I suggested multiple times in the past that there should be a separate menu (button) on the start page itself to customize the start page directly (wallpapers, hide/show SD, hide/show search box and etc.).
And EasySetup could contain only options/features that cover the whole browser.

@kane12 Yes, as soon as I turn on cashback, the extensions go off. So I get annoying Ebay ads all over the place. Not sure what you mean by "for all kinds of payment" - there's only one cashback option:

I disagree. I pay for a VPN, because I can't find a decent free one. Many people pay for a small utility Startallback, just to correct the nonsense in the start menu. A browser should attract more money than a simple utility (which also has the free alternative openshell).

@leocg Yeah those are the rubbish ones. Mostly cartoons, and only about a couple of seconds of animation at best. Nothing compared to the Edge ones.

Wow, fixed. While writing the above it worked. I'm guessing it's just very slow. Could a programmer please speed up the program? I have a Ryzen 9 3900XT for goodness sake. Although I doubt Opera bothers using more than 1 core.

However I have noticed the speed dial now opens instantly, instead of excessive history slowing it down. Seems like one thing was tweaked which affected another.

@hucker Yep, it can be due to the Cashback. It just means that you are logged in to your Opera account.

The HTML input element has a type attribute and a name attribute. Those values and the values Chromium supports for autofill determine what gets stored and autofilled. You can click "load more" at https://source.chromium.org/chromium/chromium/src/+/main:components/autofill/ for details.

I would right-click the text field and choose "inspect element" to see what type and name the username and email address fields have to see if they're the same. If so, that might explain it.

I'd also goto the URL opera://settings/addresses and review the autofill data to be sure your email address isn't set to autofill for username fields.

I'd check at opera://settings/passwords and see if the username for the login data is your email address. If so, and it's not supposed to be, you can delete the entry and add in manually correctly.

When typing in the username field, if your email address pops up, you can select it with the down arror and hit shift + del to get rid of it.

While on the page, you can hit ctrl + shift + i to open the developer tools. Then, you can goto the Application tab, select "Cookies -> the site" on the left-hand side and check out the value of the cookies for the site on the right. Your email address might be stored in a cookie for that username field where the site itself reads that cookie and fills it in. You could also just clear your cookies for the site to rule that out.

@jerro654 Have you ever filled one in? It does not let you send it until an image is attached.
