It may have been Avast Online security, an addon, which this morning showed up in Opera taskmanager with 50% CPU time under the flag of Opera.exe, also in Windows task manager, or Systemexplorer.
So I deleted it, to see if this may be the culprit?
Thanks for suggestions.
When Opera updates itself, the new version is installed to a different folder. The old version is kept in case there are problems, but will be removed automatically when a newer version comes out. But yes, if you are having no problems with 31 then you can delete the folder for 30.
is it a general problem oder a lot of work? I also just installed Chrome to be able to use chromecast. As it's possible for android apps to stream to your chromecast, I wonder if this could be an easy way to integrate a chromecast button into Opera, at least on android.
Found it already
The small ones are embedded.
If you select them, you get a redirect menu with "add a website".
Just drag the larger icon to the open speeddial and the larger direct link appears in speeddial.
So it's solved.
