That's how I met the "New tab" button:) Always RMB-Down gesturing or shift-clicking on a bookmark

I need my vertical tabs on the right side, not left. Please make that an option (like in Vivaldi)

Please stop stretching the active tab, and also, when I'm scrolling through tabs—why not return to the second-to-last tab when I close the last one?

Would be nice if pinned tabs can be excluded from shortcut list!
For example, if you have 8 pined tabs first 8 shortcuts are always occupied, and you probably need to "jump" in between regular tabs that you just open.

I think one should have freedom of moving the vertical tab to left or right.

It would be amazing if we could have a keyboard shortcut such as ctrl B to collapse vertical tabs panel. I think this would be a very intuitive UX design move for developers.

I wish we have a way to hide the adress bar too to make it more minimalistic. And the sidebar+vertical tabs works weird together, especially if you use the hide option on the sidebar like i use

I just tried it and I love it! The highlighting of the active tab is a gamechanger for me. Not, that it was bad earlier but it's amazing now.

Is Opera a safe browser to go to? I just went to log onto a site and it was saying it's not secure? Thanks the the help.

Please can we have the option to have the vertical tabs on the right hand side please? My mouse it on the right as I'm right handed and naturally falls on the right. This seems like an obvious choice to allow.

@cannarwilm I totally agree. It would make so much sense. Let the user choose where to put the vertical tabs – left or right.

Please don't remove the possibility of keeping tabs at the top of the page so we can choose to use vertical tabs or not. In essence, please don't force everyone to use vertical tabs. Some of us prefer to use our full screen for the web pages we are on instead of removing space from the web page filling it up with a tab bar. When you are older your eyes can't operate with small print and small images so we need the full use of our computer screen for web pages.
