I still lose all my passwords with this version.
I'm back to v113.0.5227.0. -

@tspringer: I found a temporary solution, somewhere on the net.
If you add the following to your command line, it should show your passwords;
--enable-features=SkipUndecryptablePasswordsEdit: I'm on Win11x64.

@tspringer Start Opera with that command-line switch, goto the URL
opera://password-manager/settings
, export your passwords to a CSV file, open the CSV file in a text editor to confirm all your passwords are there, goto the URLopera://about
, take note of the "profile" path, close Opera and delete the "Login Data" file in the profile folder. Then, start Opera normally, goto the URL
opera://password-manager/settings
and import the CSV file.Hopefully that should fix the issue with needing to use that command-line switch.

@burnout426: It fixes it partly. It works, but if you save a new password login, the next time you restart Opera, the password list is empty.
It seems that the passwords are somewhere in some file, because they popup when I try to enter it manually into a webpage login field.
Well, Chrome and Edge had the same issues, and they have been fixed, hopefully Opera can learn from them, and get a fix out soon. -

I discovered something about invisible tabs. After turning off the Setting/User interface / 'Enable tab scrolling when many tabs are open' option, the tabs appear.

@tspringer I think it's related to the recent password issue that happened in Chromium and Opera Developer just needs to be updated to a version of Chromium with the fix maybe.
However, I can't reproduce the issue on Windows 11 23H2 at least. My Opera Developer profile is new though. So, perhaps starting with a whole new profile will fix it now. Might be something messed-up with the "Local State" file and or "Secure Preferences" that triggers it.

@amirhamdi same for me. I think they created a "new feature" and ruined convenient features. It's like Firefox.
Developers, please bring back or give us the option to choose how to open bookmarks and history: in a new window or in the navigation bar.

Dear Opera, when will we finally get bookmark synchronization between Opera GX browsers on iOS and Windows?
