Tabs randomly jump to the far left

I'm currently on version 100.0.4815.54

I've noticed that sometimes, when I use mouse-clicks to switch between open tabs, the tab I click shoots to the far left. Pretty annoying when I have my tabs sorted in a specific order.

I've recreated the problem in a video which I can't seem to upload here. However, it might happen once in a minute, or it could happen 5 times in 20 seconds. No real rhyme or reason to it.

I don't use tab islands (and I'd prefer to keep it that way).

Does anyone have an idea what causes this and how to stop it from happening?

@fkala How far? I've had one user suggest the tab was being momentarily dragged but everything resizes when it is picked up and thus it ends up several positions left - but if you mean shifting by more than half the screen that wouldn't work as a reason.

@sgunhouse They always move to the very furthest left.

I've uploaded it as a gif to quickly show what I'm talking about. It does not seem to matter how many tabs I have open, it'll always jump to the furthest left position.

It's not the best quality, but I've quickly uploaded it as a to hopefully show you what I'm talking about. Notice the order of the tabs changing as the tab I click sometimes randomly gets pulled to the left.

Same for me, from time to time when I click on tab it moves at the beginning, to the far left. Any option to fix it?
