How to add an x to open tabs so the tabs can be closed? The x is missing on all my tabs.

Yep, the "x" appears on hover. Perhaps @Skidaddy can confirm this as well. It would be good to know.
While the "x" on hover feature is nice, it may pose a serious problem for people with disabilities - which brings up this topic once again.
Can you share this post with Opera's DevOps Team to find out if Opera One complies with WCAG's Accessibility Standards? At a glance, it appears it does not. What are their plans to ensure compliance?
Thank you!

This is annoying that i need to hover in order to see X. I like this minimalistic approach, but we need an option to keep it showing all the time. It eats fraction of second to find that X even for me, competitive player. For standard users this will be a lot more annoying.

@bakaonline for a long time I have been using mouse wheel click on tab for close. don't really need an x at all. But each to their own I guess and I suggest that why not put it in options, a simple entry, to hide or perma-display the x along with any other changes made. Let us(the users) decide. How bout doing it that way Opera ?

@generosus mouse wheel click on tab closes it i think no need for an x, unless of course you dont have a mouse with a wheel click in which case they cost almost nothing and are useful.

@ceedee If I was strictly using Opera on a desktop or laptop with a mouse I would agree but why should tablet users have to use a mouse or attach a keyboard to use a function that used to be performed with the touch of a finger. This is nonsensical change that detracts from Opera's overall useability.

@robteejr Quite right wasnt thinking about touchscreens etc, you are quite correct, you shouldn't have too I was jumping the gun in assuming that tablets etc have an equivalent function like a three finger swipe/tap or something like that.
Edit: Maybe that one could be addressed by a section on forum for other devices to discuss such things, just to help in drilling down on issues, I dunno I talk first and think later sometimes. It causes me grief IRL all the time, sorry.

@generosus It does not, in fact, show up with hover on all machines. I now have so-called 'better' browser on all my personal and work machines and cannot close any of the darn tabs without fully opening them or using a right click. I am seriously looking at other browsers (and this after I got special permissions from my employer to even use Opera!) Argh! we need a FIX #moderator #fixourtabs
