I now have so-called 'better' browser on all my personal and work machines and cannot close any of the darn tabs without fully opening them or using a right click. I am seriously looking at other browsers (and this after I got special permissions from my employer to even use Opera!) Argh! we need a FIX #moderator #fixourtabs

Edit: Maybe that one could be addressed by a section on forum for other devices to discuss such things, just to help in drilling down on issues, I dunno I talk first and think later sometimes. It causes me grief IRL all the time, sorry.

This is nonsensical change that detracts from Opera's overall useability.

But each to their own I guess and I suggest that why not put it in options, a simple entry, to hide or perma-display the x along with any other changes made. Let us(the users) decide. How bout doing it that way Opera ?

I like this minimalistic approach, but we need an option to keep it showing all the time. It eats fraction of second to find that X even for me, competitive player. For standard users this will be a lot more annoying.

Yep, the "x" appears on hover. Perhaps @Skidaddy can confirm this as well. It would be good to know.

While the "x" on hover feature is nice, it may pose a serious problem for people with disabilities - which brings up this topic once again.

Can you share this post with Opera's DevOps Team to find out if Opera One complies with WCAG's Accessibility Standards? At a glance, it appears it does not. What are their plans to ensure compliance?

Thank you!
