Double click on text opens a new tab

Let's assume a following text somewhere on page:
This is my text containing file_name.pdf
- When I double-click the word "containing", it is selected. - That is a required functionality.
- But when I double-click "file_name", Opera opens a new tab using "file_name.pdf" in the address bar - which is very annoying.
Can I turn this auto-open-wanna-be-url feature off?

@unknow0059 It can't be turned off as far as I know. If it's a link, clicking on it should open the page.

@leocg There are two problems with your statement, though:
- This is not a link. It's a plain text.
- It's not clicking that opens the page. It's a double-click. And double-click shouldn't open a link - even if this was a link
I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, just want to explain why I think this is a bug.

So, with this page:
data:text/plain,%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AThis%20is%20my%20text%20containing%20file_name.pdf
(Copy and paste n go in a new tab to load it.)
, I double-left-click anywhere on
file_name
and it should open a new tab?If so, I can't get that to happen. Opera just shows the search popup with the choice to search or copy or snapshot (all with the AI stuff above it).
Is this happening in regular Opera (Opera One) or Opera GX? What specific version as shown at the URL
opera://about
? What version of Windows?Does it happen in a test standalone installation too?
