Security error when connecting to a local Apache server with a self-signed root certificate (Importing through browser settings works)

Hello Opera community,
I am a university student currently working on a project, and I have encountered an issue with the Opera browser (version 98.0.4759.39) on my Windows system. I have disabled the Opera Root Store and imported a self-generated root certificate authority (CA) into my system's certificate store. However, when I try to connect to my local Apache server, which uses a certificate signed by my self-created CA, I receive a security error.
Interestingly, when I import the root certificate directly through the Opera browser settings instead of using the system's certificate store, everything works as expected and I am able to connect to the local Apache server without any security errors.I am curious to know why importing the certificate through the browser settings resolves the issue while importing it into the system's certificate store does not. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or does anyone have suggestions on how to ensure that Opera correctly recognizes certificates imported into the system's certificate store?
Thank you for your time and help.

Did you import CA cert into trusted roots store - and for current user or local computer store?
Did other browsers work with your setup? -

On Windows, I followed a specific procedure and successfully loaded the CA (Certificate Authority) certificate into the system's certificate store. This allowed Opera to establish a secure connection without any errors or security warnings.
However, when I replicated the same procedure on Ubuntu, despite correctly importing the CA certificate into the system, Opera fails to obtain the CA and I continue to receive a security error when trying to connect to the local Apache server.
I have verified that the CA certificate used on Windows is identical to the one imported on Ubuntu. Furthermore, I ensured that the certificate was properly placed in the appropriate certificate store on Ubuntu.

In first post you told that you had problems on Windows - now you say that on Windows all worked well.
On Ubuntu I have no experience at all, sorry. Do other Ubuntu browsers see and use your CA there?
