When I close a tab, the next tab that is activated, is the one next to the closed one, used to be to the (second)last activated tab.
When I open a new tab, it creates the new tab at the end of the tabs, instead of to the right of the currently activated tab. -

@tspringer Seems to be the normal and expected behavior.
Open a new tab usually opens it in the far right.
Opening a link in a new tab opens it next to the current one. -

I have to confirm @leocg, this has always been the normal behavior on my computer too -

@tspringer: I'm sorry, you are both right.. been using Opera for so long with add-ons, I forgot I was using a add-on (which i recently disabled to troubleshoot some stuff) for that behaviour
Thank you both for reminding me -

@tspringer Happens to me as well.
I use the extension "SimpleTabOrder" v0.5.16 by iron2000, though, which allows to re-create old Presto Opera behavior. – And ist is supposed to be active. But after a short while of running Opera, it stops to handle the
tab
events.I presume, it has to to with the same issue I reported earlier, Extensions stop working correctly: Perhaps ist's a life-cycle issue with the background event-page or ' tab' access.
