I've used opera to generate a csr, including public / private keys. How to find my private key?

@unbehagen What are you talking about? You can export your saved passwords to a CSV file, that's what you are referring to?

@leocg Hi, I've used a website to generate a certificate signing request (csr). Please find an image attached. During this process a private/public key pair is generated. The csr can be downloaded as a pdf or json file, including the public key. But the Browser must have saved the private key (hopefully on my computer) , that's what I'm looking for.

@unbehagen Did you choose a specific place to save the file? If not, then it should be in your download directory.

I did not choose a special download directory. My Opera is configured to "Ask where to save each file before downloading"'. I'm not sure, if I was asked to save anything in the process while generating the csr.
I've checked "Downloads", but there seems to be nothing there. Which suffix should the file have? .zip / .pem / .key or anything else?
(and sorry for the delayed answer) -

@unbehagen The file extension depends on the site, maybe you can try checking there.
The screenshot you sent seems to be of a request page. The request was granted? Did you retrieve the certificate?

@unbehagen And you wasn't ask where to save it when you did the download?
Check in Opera's settings page the path for your download folder and check there.

@unbehagen Don't know, what extension the site says the file they generated should have? Can't you simply go to the site and download it again?
