Whenever i use the search bar at the top whatever i typed it showed the the stuff i already searched (history). Yesterday i did update on Opera, after that when i use search bar the first thing that shows is from google and second from history and its annoying. Is there a way to revert it bask so when i type something in search bar it only shows history instead of google and history as second.italicised text

@scholle1309 We're working on ways to improve the address bar experience, to make it more organized and easier to use. We expect an update by the end of next week which will make it smoother and quicker to access your history from the address bar."

@kmielczarczyk the question is not to quicker access the history from address bar, its to disable it! also disabling to show the bookmarks in address bar is a feature that is wished by users since years, but nothing happens. should be easy to bring a feature like this, but instead of giving an option to disable it, in the new update it got even more present and showing all your bookmarks and history.
since its such a long time and nobody cares is such a shame - and for many users, like you can read also in other forums, been a reason to leave opera. -

@leonhardttobias I already installed Edge because it does have a setting to not autocomplete or show any bookmarks or other personal information while you enter a URL or search

Hey, I saw that an update has been pushed live today (86.0.4363.50), but it does not change something in regards of this thread, is that correct?

Is there a way to remove the pointless google searches and opera related pages? (like opera:about)
