Has anyone noticed the tab bar change from a couple of versions ago?

Before, when you had many tabs open and closed one or more of them the other tabs would remain with a fixed size until you removed the mouse from the tab bar (when doing so the remaining ones would stretch to occupy the entire space of the tab bar). Now, as you close tabs the remaining tabs stretch causing you to mistakenly close others that you shouldn't.

Is there the possibility of adding an option for the user to choose which method he likes or is more convenient?

@xktulux The bug is fixed in Beta/Dev and will be soon fixed in Stable because O83 will be promoted to Stable soon, I guess.
Most probably it will happen next week.

It may seem like something unimportant but the truth is that once you get used to how it was before, it becomes very annoying to how it is right now.
