Thanks!

Kornelia, do you have any info on this update for Linux users as itβs been well past one day of your announcement here without an update being available for Linux?

@treego: Nevermind, Kornelia ... I just discovered the deb package link in your post will update my Chromebook/Linux installation just fine. I used a different method to update via "Terminal" on Chromebook in the past. All is good ... sorry, for the trouble.

Clicking on any article on Feedly.com to view the article results in a page crash after the update to Opera 82 here on Chromebook/Linux.

@treego: Correction: only some articles crash when clicked to be viewed ... most are okay ... strange.

Opera cannot show the video below while Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome can.

Auto pop-out don't work when I change between workspaces. Is this intentional?

Opera 82.0.4227.23 does not remember the "default browser" setting (Windows 7).

I understand what you mean.
However, Windows 7 has not been changed since Opera was upgraded to version 82.0.4227.23. Opera, on the other hand, has.
For all versions prior to 82.0.4227.23, Windows 7 remembered that Opera was the default browser. So why not now and why should Windows 7 be to blame. If it is, Windows 7 should be removed from the system requirements. -

Every time I open Opera 82.0.4227.23, a new bar appears below the bookmarks bar, which says on the left: "Do you want to set Opera as your browser for daily use?" On the right side of the bar there is a button "Yes, set as default browser".
After pressing the button, this bar disappears. However, it will reappear the next time you start the browser.
