Why don't we leave cashback on permanently? Why do I have to remember to activate it every single time I use it? Whatever it is clicking that button does, just have it happen by itself. It must be possible.

How do I turn this off? I want to use my extensions. Who decided this was okay?
Also, can't you just automatically activate cashback when I go to a website? Why do I need to have a pop-up appear and click it every time? At least make it an option to be able to have it automatically activate.

@icebluelugia Currently, to receive cashback you must remember to activate our service before each purchase - it's not much, and cashback rewards can make your shopping experience significantly more enjoyable! That should not be necessary, just leave it on all the time. People forget!

@katarzynamos Yes I’m aware it’s not much but there’s really no reason not to have it in at all times. Not everyone’s going to remember to do it. And for the people that have the pop-up appear, it can be a little annoying seeing it every time.
Also; what about allowing extensions during shopping experiences?

@icebluelugia When visiting any partner shop, you can use the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner of the pop-up window to change the frequency or pause the cashback pop-ups. The cashback reward is part of the commission we receive from affiliates for activities promoting the shop. In order to receive it, the affiliate link provided by us must be activated prior to purchase by clicking the Activate cashback button in the pop-up window or by selecting Start shopping in the merchant's offer on our website.
When shopping on a partner site, other extensions may interfere with the correct operation of our affiliate links and lead to a lack of reward. To minimise the risk of such a situation, other extensions are automatically deactivated.

I see no reason it can't automatically activate. Why do I have to click it every single time?!

@katarzynamos Hi Katarzyna, my opera cashback stopped registering transactions in November. I've used it on two different computers, so it's not a problem with specific installation. I'm activating "cashback" option the same way I did before, I haven't installed any additional browser extensions or antivirus software.
I've tried reaching the support, but they gave me the exactly same generic answer as the one you provided here on forum. I've tried the mentioned solutions to no avail:

@yuhans: Same thing for me, since 15 novemeber none of my allegro shopings got cashbacked, It's about 50 zł of loss on unconfirmed cashbacks, useless, I just switched back to letyshops. I contacted the support and they gave me no help, only well known info:
For a refund to be excluded:
check if your cart is empty before activating the Opera Cashback view;
activate Opera Cashback before available products add to cart;
do not add products from the Watched section to the cart (search for the product again, then activate the Opera Cashback function and add the product to the cart);
as a result of several actions from different factors, in order to solve chargeback problems, always make separate transactions for each of them;
place your order in one session.Lol, I will not do such things to get 20gr xD Letyshops works without any of this sick procedures.

@luksor54 @katarzynamos 2 recent purchases on allegro appeared in my cashback. However, I activated it by visiting opera.cashback.com website, searching for "allegro" and pressing "start shopping" (not by using Cashback button visible next to URL address in the browser). Maybe after a certain update "cashback" button visible directly in the browser stopped working?

I simply disabled it completely after CB not registering my purchases and subsequent endless discussions w. a more or less 'friendly' support-agent.
Way to much hassle for the penny! Sorry. -

What do you mean "decision of your partners"? If e.g. temu . com partners w. you ( https://cashback.opera.com/us/shops/temu ) why is none of my purchases appreciated?!
...especially after I sent a list w. all purchases incl. screenshots showing activated CB on temu to your "friendly" support?!"the users actions"? I bought stuff on ebay w. the same browser on the same Mac on the same days. ebay was accounted, temu was not, so it can hardly be my "the users" mistake now, can it?!

Thanks, but the effort to activate and subsequently check, but mostly the nerves it costs do not at all justify the return, sorry
Make ist simpler and - most imporantly - make sure it works 100% w. All merchants advertised.
