it would be great if there was a mini icon in the sidebar/corner that when clicked, opens a notepad kind of thing, where you can leave notes, a to-do list and stuff like that : )

@picklerick There are extensions for that, such as V7 Notes. Check them out, or explain here why it should be built-in.

@sgunhouse there are also V7 Bookmarks/History extensions but Opera implemented its own panels. I think the answer can be to unify the UI and direct support from Opera side

@andrew84 You are comparing different things. History and bookmarks are part of a browser and it makes sense to have a bookmark and a history panel, but why Opera should have a built-in notepad panel?

@leocg I don't say that Opera should have this (not my suggestion) but I don't understand your confrontation regarding this function.
For example Vivaldi has this panel in sidebar, Edge also has something similar (Collections where you can leave notes), so why Opera can't have the similar feature?
And I already provided possible explanation: the same UI and the option support from Opera (not from extension's author who can abandon it and leave outdated)

Anyway, this is suggestions thread, the user posted his suggestion and explained what for he needs it, not clear why moderators require more explanation. Let Opera decide if this is a really reasonable suggestion or not and ask extra details. But I doubt that Opera will even notice/read it.
