[Solved]How is a 10+ year old account considered new?

Why do I get " As a new user, you can only post once every 120 second(s) until you have earned 3 reputation - please wait before posting again " not sure how being on the site for over 10 years is called being a new user?
From https://forums.opera.com/topic/22906/welcome-to-the-new-opera-forums/2
"DISCUSSION HISTORY AND PROFILE STATISTICSOn the other hand, your old forums user profile - the date when you had first joined, your post count and your entire posting history - has been transferred over here.
All the posts that have ever been published on the old forums are here, too. You should be able to pick up just where you left off."
This is all missing from what I can tell (even the search is not working).I was on here being one of the alpha testers of Opera 9.5.
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

@leocg Strange as I have had a reputation for a long time.

@leocg Never seen that before, what happened with the switch is very rude to people who have been on the site for 10+ years. (being treated like a mass spammer right now is how it feels)

Reputation is upvotes on your posts, which is only since the software was installed. Unfortunately, nothing older is counted. Of course moderators are immune, but I had the same thing on another forum after they switched to this software.
(I gave you an upvote to help, but you may need a couple more yet.)

@sgunhouse Are you also one of the old MyOpera users? (icon and user name look familiar)
