When you click on a "Quick Access" Tile in the "Start Page", it opens the requested link in the current tab instead of the "Start Page". This is Normal...
When you click on a "Quick Access" Tile of the "Start Page" with the "Ctrl" key pressed (or a right click), it opens the requested link in a new tab. This is Normal too and i like this possibility.
 My request :
Can we reverse by default this process and always open a "Quick Access" Tile in a new tab ? Without pressing nothing more.
Maybe a link in Quick Access like: https://www.google.fr/ target="_blank" ?
I've tested it, it doesn't work.
Do you have a trick for me or should we wait for the developers to offer this option ?
 Thanks for your answer.

andrew84 last edited by andrew84@jcmacintosh said in Quick Access openend in a new tab by default ?!: it's a laptop Some (or most) laptops have touchpad gestures that emulate mouse the wheel/right buttons pressing.
For example tap by 2 fingers emulates the mouse right click button, tap by 3 fingers emulates the mouse wheel pressing. In my case the 2 fingers tap works as a right click, but 3 fingers tap does nothing. It's need to check particular's laptop touchpad settings.

jcmacintosh last edited by@leocg Hi!
Yes and thank you, that's what I thought, I hope this option will appear one day ! But I still have trouble understanding why a simple post about a new tab turns into a post for mouse and trackpad user manual. andrew84 last edited byYou asked about a trick so you get possible solutions. If you don't need/accept that you can wait official solution from developers (that most probably won't happern soon or won't happen at all).
