Opening pdf files with the browser

I just downloaded Opera for my desktop after many years using Google Chrome. Version is 57.0.3098.76
I've been trying to find a way to open pdf files with the browser so I can view them without downloading them first on my computer. On Chrome this is possible with an extension.
I looked at the settings and the "Download pdf instead of automatically opening them in Opera" is disabled as I guess it should be.
Is there an extension or some other setting that will make pdf files open instead of being downloaded? It's an important feature for me as I have to go through many pdf files every day and I don't want them all downloaded.

@leocg well, same files are opened inside the browser on Chrome and are being downloaded on Opera. On Chrome though I have to use an extension (PDF viewer). Although I've tried a few extensions that claim to do exactly that, none of them works.
Edit: Found a solution! It's an extension called 'Open with Google Drive Viewer'.
