Speed Dial keeps re-adding default bookmarks (e.g. Amazon, Booking.com, etc)

I'm not sure exactly how often this is happening, but it feels like it's every time I restart the laptop. Basically, Opera (beta) 52 keeps adding the default speed dials to the top of my speed dial page. This is getting so annoying that I'm tempted to change the settings so that it never goes to the speed dial page (as much as I love the speed dial page).
If anyone knows how to change this, please let me know...

This is definitely not intended behaviour. Even if default Speed Dial is in trash it should not reappear. This is how it looks for us when tested today locally on latest beta build (52.0.2871.27). Could you give us some details like country you are in and region you have set in system?

I have the same problem. After every windows update the speeddial has its default bookmarks back.
I use Win10 Insider Preview Fast Ring. I am from the Netherlands. Region is is also set to The Netherlands

Same here in Belgium. Booking and Amazon reappear. I've just emptied my trash bin, will see if that works.

This seems still to be an issue for some users. So here are my settings I am using without speed dial entries beeing re-added/replaced on my computer:
Browser - Start page: (Show advanced settings = ON)
- Hide search box = ON
- Hide Speed Dial = OFF
- Hide "Add a site" button = ON
- Show Speed Dial suggestions = OFF
- Adjust Speed Dial animations for slower hardware = ON
- Maximum number of columns = 11
Opera 53.0.2907.68 on Windows 7 32-bit, Stand-alone installation (USB), language = English (United States). Region set in system is GERMANY.
I am using twelve Speed dial entries, but have not stored a single bookmark up to now. My bookmark's trash folder is emptied.
