Open downloaded file without saving it to a specific location

I hope this is just a misconfiguration of my browser and not an intended "feature". Most of my downloads are small files like a PDF or a text document. Back in the Opera 12 days I was able to choose what to do with each download. It let me choose between saving the file to disc or opening it right away (I know it's saved to tmp directory automatically). This is no longer possible and it annoys me every single time.

Please tell me, wether it is still possible to get the open button for a download back.

It's not possible.

Regarding PDF files, you should be able to read them in Opera.
