Jumping in on this. The Aria extension runs and hogs nearly 2GB of RAM even though it is never used.

@burnout426 macOS 26.1 (25B78). I've had plenty of crashes, but most of them show "Status: Not uploaded".

Same behavior on Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 (Gnome, Wayland) : Opera launches in the app bar as a new "unknown" application. Also tried the steps above (re-pinning) and it doesn't seems to work.

@honK69 It went back to normal after the last Opera update.

(and no, there was not a second window, I checked pretty carefully. Just one window with 14x FB + 1x Opera has been updated, counted as 26 tabs being closed.)
