Any Way to Select History to Delete?

Why do we only have the option to delete all browser history, and not able to select which links we wish to delete, as other browsers do?

Yes, if you wish to delete hundreds of items one at a time..... That's a ridiculous way to do it, unlike other browsers where you can simply highlight & delete, and click one x to mark an entire column or page of sites, and delete, there should be a way to do this without having to X each individual site...

I agree, annoying that there's no selecting! One easy way to remove a bigger slice of history is to use Opera's "Delete history from the last X time" feature. Click Opera menu -> Clear Private Data... and then select how much time you'd like to erase (eg. last hour, last day). You can also reach this from the history page (it's at the top).

You can use the History Eraser extension.
After install should be able to copy and paste this link into your browser
chrome-extension://lfpoajlbkhlfoeeokbppmecpplmieedm/history.html
where you will have more find grained control on deleting history.
Use the big yellow ✓ in the top right hand corner to uncheck everything. Now you can tick individual items, shift-click a range, filter the results based on title, etc.

Remember you can use a private window for periods where you do not want your browsing history stored.
If you want access to cookies, without recording history, use the history on/off extension to disable history recording.

If you delete all your browsing history, will that affect the ability for Opera, upon re-opening, to begin with all your open tabs & windows? That's my chief concern, or else I would simply erase all the history, but I don't want to lose the memory of all the open tabs/windows, so when I open up, they'll still be there.
