That's my chief concern, or else I would simply erase all the history, but I don't want to lose the memory of all the open tabs/windows, so when I open up, they'll still be there.</p>

<p dir="auto">If you want access to cookies, without recording history, use <a href="https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/history-onoff/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">the history on/off extension</a> to disable history recording.</p>

<p dir="auto">After install should be able to copy and paste this link into your browser</p>

<p dir="auto">where you will have more find grained control on deleting history.</p>
<p dir="auto">Use the big yellow ✓ in the top right hand corner to uncheck everything. Now you can tick individual items, shift-click a range, filter the results based on title, etc.</p>

One easy way to remove a bigger slice of history is to use Opera's "Delete history from the last X time" feature. Click Opera menu -&gt; Clear Private Data... and then select how much time you'd like to erase (eg. last hour, last day). You can also reach this from the history page (it's at the top).</p>

That's a ridiculous way to do it, unlike other browsers where you can simply highlight &amp; delete, and click one x to mark an entire column or page of sites, and delete, there should be a way to do this without having to X each individual site...</p>
