i have Opera 26.0.1656.24 and every site that requires flash shows a "Flash Player is out of date" message
      and i use Flash 11.1.102.63

my computer isn't really a good computer for the newer flash player that started with Flash 12

what do i need to do to fix this, upgrade to the latest version of flash and put with with jittery video and it still player after it pause or is there a add on that makes older versions of some plug ins work.

Use a version of "Pepper Flash". Oh, and the current version seems to be 15.

Sorry for a bit off-topic, but what is this "pepper flash" I often read about here on the Forums?
And yes, Opera 26.0.1656.24, even shows this if you Flashplayer is Version 14...

Funny is, Opera 25 still runs easily with this 14 Version of Flash (albeit the 60fps Videos on YT)

Many webbrowsers use(d) NPAPI for plugins.

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NPAPI

Google invented a new way to handle plugins (Pepper/PPAPI) with some advantages:

            Google_Native_Client#Pepper

They are actually planning to remove NPAPI and only use PPAPI.

Pepper is a plugin API for Chromium; since Opera is Chromium-based it has been able to use pepper Flash for some time though did not automatically detect it. With Opera 25 they fixed the detection issue but also dropped support for the old Netscape plugin architecture.

Strange, I'm still using the NP Flash plugin on Opera developer 27.
I don't have Pepper flash installed, or at least the Flash Player applet in the Windows Control Panel is telling me that I haven't!
YouTube certainly appears to be using the normal Flash Player plugin so the browser must still support it.
                😕

so the browser must still support it.

Yep, both npapi and ppapi flash are supported atm.

So was @sgunhouse incorrect, or did he mean something else?
                    🙂

Maybe they changed it ... I remember when it was a Developer version it only supported pepper Flash. Sometimes it's hard to keep up ...

sgunhouse was incorrect (a very rare thing) we currently still support both on Windows and Mac.

P.S. sgunhouse runs Linux, where Opera only supports PPAPI (which probably explains how he got this wrong).

У меня в этой версии Оперы не работает на компьютере Flash Player. У меня он обновлён, стоит последняя версия. И например Google Chrome или Firefox, так там работает Flash Player. А если зайти в OPERA то ничего не работает.

[Mod edit]: Added a Google translate

I have in this version of Opera does not work on your computer Flash Player. I have it updated, it is worth the latest version. And like Google Chrome or Firefox, so there running Flash Player. And if you go to the OPERA then nothing works.

ahh I hate derailing actual topics - so please tell me if I should rather open an extra topic about that.

So, I am running a standalone version of Opera26 here, and is the a way to test out this pepper flash thingy without it interfering something else on my computer?

I got very reluctant about updates and new software this year as I mainly had bad experience.
