It was working fine previously but it stopped connecting as of yesterday - still no luck. I think it may be a bug on Opera's end.

I am honestly convinced this thing does not work. 3 hours wasted trying to make it work.

@Bellsmm it still doesn't work. I wouldn't waste your time trying until Opera devs confirm the fix. It looks to be a protocol error, so something isn't communicating within internal Opera systems, rather than a failure to communicate with GPT itself. As far as I'm aware, there's nothing you can do to fix this on your local machine unfortunately.

Just removed all traces of opera, then clean reinstall. Message when tried to use "I can’t summarize the Opera tabs yet because the Opera Browser Connector is not currently exposing them. I can see only a blank remote-browser tab.
"Please reconnect or enable the Browser Connector in Opera, ensure the extension shows Connected, then reply “Retry.” Keep the Opera tabs open"
Definitely a bug on their end
