          I installed the beta version of Opera thinking it would be based on a more current version of Chromium, but the stable, beta and dev Opera are 3 versions behind the most current Chromium, wouldn't it be better for the dev version to jump straight to the latest version released?

            @LordHardcase It use to, but Opera stopped doing that a while ago. Since they're doing it on purpose, I doubt they'll change.

              @LordHardcase Yeah, I thought the same, kind of expected the dev version to be right on the edge with Chromium updates. Feels a bit counterintuitive when even the dev build is lagging behind. Wonder if it’s stability or internal testing holding it back.
