The quality of the ingredients really stands out — the burgers taste fresh, the veggies are crisp, and the buns aren’t just generic. You can actually taste the difference. Their "not-so-secret" menu is also a cool touch. I usually go for the Double-Double Animal Style — it’s messy but totally worth it.
As for McDonald's or Burger King? If I had to choose between the two, I’d probably lean slightly toward McDonald’s just for consistency and fries. But if In-N-Out is in the mix, it's no contest. In-N-Out wins for flavor, freshness, and overall vibe.

Here in Germany I prefer Burger King because their Burgers here are from better quality and more fresh.
Outside Germany I often found McDonalds more reliable. Espacialy in Thailand and in Southafrica, Tunesia and Canada.
In Canada Wendys is better.
Here in Germany there are some burger shops with home made burgers with much higher quality like Burgermeister. -

If I'm craving something iconic and consistent, I usually go for McDonald's—their fries are legendary, and a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder just hits the spot sometimes. Plus, their breakfast menu (when available) is hard to beat!
