      @whisperer yes you can.

      Thanks, I found out how now. It's not drag and drop, but drag, wait a moment until the suggestion for a tab islands appears, and then drop.

        @whisperer: Hello! You can create a new tab island by dragging and dropping a tab onto another, but it’s important to drop the tab near the one you want to group it with and wait a moment for the island to form.

        Yes, I figured that out. That still means that the information on the page is not clear though. The important information that you have to wait a moment for the island to form, is missing.

              I'm 100% sure they didn't even test UI before releasing this version to public as stable (at least for macOS).

              • extensions page is disaster (already mentioned by someone in the thread);
              • Opera crashes when deleting themes from right panel sidebar;
              • in default light mode text in context menu is not visible while hovering
              • suggestions bar has wrong color in default theme, it's some kinda blue while address bar and bottom margin is white (it was already fixed some time ago, seems like regression testing is not known at Opera)

              Sad to say but in recent ~6 months Opera stable for macOS is becoming a good example of not baked software. Double sad is that I come from Wrocław (where is Opera is developed). Triple sad is that I'm a QA and it hurts seeing such bugs in almost every stable build.

                @ciachun: Hello, thanks for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about the issues on macOS. We test each release, including regression testing, so it’s sad to hear you're facing these problems. For the extensions page, could you let us know what you don't like or what’s not working? Regarding the crash with deleting themes, if you can share the crashID from opera://crashes, it’ll help us investigate. The suggestions dropdown color issue is already fixed and will be in upcoming releases. The hover color should be as expected, but we appreciate your feedback on it. As fellow QAs, we truly value your help in making Opera better.

                    @daria19: I have crash reporting disabled, but repro steps are super easy: from the right panel level delete all the themes. Once the last theme is removed, Opera crashes. Regarding extensions page: look at the bottom margins of div with id "card" and on the pill-shaped switch per extension (it has no margin on its left side). Regarding hovering color on elements - I totally don't understand why it's accepted since it's rarely visible - isn't it? Just make text colour white while hovering and it will make many people happy. 🙂

                        @ciachun: Thanks for sharing the repro steps! Unfortunately, it seems like you’re experiencing some kind of corner case here, as the last theme can’t be deleted – it’s disabled by default and greyed out. If there’s anything unique about your setup that might help us reproduce this, please let us know. We appreciate your help!

                          @daria19 you're right, I can't delete it now. It's weird since yesterday in the evening I was able to reproduce it twice. Can I somehow share my local crash reports with you since I'm not able to reproduce the bug now?

For example, does this happen on all websites with search bars or specific ones? The more information you can provide, the better we can understand and investigate the problem.

                                      @daria19 It happens while searching the in-site search bar in any website. The page is stuck in the loading section.

                                        @ciachun You probably have some old theme settings in your Preferences file from when themes were less stable and being developed.

                                        If you want to try and fix it, you can goto the URL opera://about, take note of the "profile" path, close Opera, back up the whole "Opera Stable" folder (one level up from the profile folder) for good measure, and edit the "Preferences" file in the profile folder with JSONedit in tree mode.

                                        To reset your theme stuff, right-click on the "vibes" node under root and choose "Delete selected node". Then, do the same for "Themes" under "root". Then, do the same for "user_themes" under root/ui. Then, save your changes.

                                        Another way to test if that will help is to make a test standalone installation of Opera 116 to see if you can reproduce the crash there. If not, then fixing your Preferences file for your regular install of Opera might indeed help avoid the crash.

                                            @urby938: Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Let's tackle this step by step:

                                            1. Slow Facebook Logout: It's worth noting that sometimes Facebook's logout process can be slow due to the website itself or the server load at the time. This may not always be related to your browser or device.
                                            2. YouTube Notifications Issue: When the browser restarts, do the notifications stop working entirely, or does it seem like the notification permissions are being reset? It could help to check if the permissions for YouTube notifications in the browser settings are still enabled after a restart. Let us know!
                                            3. Slow Content Loading: Are you noticing this on specific websites or just in general? If it's site-specific (like Facebook or others), it could be a server-side issue. However, clearing your browser cache or disabling unnecessary extensions might also help improve performance.

                                            Feel free to share more details so we can help.
